Festive Look book – Volume 1

Hello Dear Readers,

It’s the time of the year, when our cherished festival of lights is around the corner.Whether it’s pre-Diwali get together, ‘Laxmi Puja’,’Bhai Duj’or an Office Party,we all want to look our best for each occasion. With a plethora of trends and colors available, finding the perfect outfit is quite a task.I believe, for an outfit to standout,it is highly important to add a bit of quirk by incorporating interesting prints or colours to our ensemble.I usually decide my looks keeping in mind the occasions and festivities that I have to attend, reserving the heaviest look for the most important day.

Previously,on Diwali I used to run to the local tailors or visit the old city markets to get the perfect outfit for the Diwali bash. But that is no more the scene this year. Max Fashion with it’s wide and affordable range of ethnic wear has made my job of finding the perfect outfit super easy. The colorful and gorgeous pattern work on every outfit, left me spoilt with choices and made it extremely difficult to select the ones I like the most.

After much deliberation,I was able to find the perfect outfits that are not too over the top and makes you look like the next bride-in-line but yet is bound to make a statement. I will be sharing two different Diwali looks in two blog posts so that justice is done to each of the looks

For my first look, I picked up a ethnic blue crop top(from Max Fashion store) to pair with a pastel green palazzo that I had bought few months back from the local markets of Indore. I kept the accessorises to the minimum as I feel the outfit is perfect in itself and doesn’t need the aid of much jewellery. The entire outfit is less than 1000 bucks and provides the classic festive touch without burning a hole in the pockets. This outfit will be perfect for day time events or for office parties where you can easily make a statement as traditional design on pastel colours makes all the difference.

Take a look at the pictures and let me know in comments and feedback how you liked the pairing. Also, stay tuned for Festive look book – Volume 2. 😉  HAPPY MONDAY . 🙂 🙂
